Our Mission and Vision

The International Council for Machinery Lubrication is a vendor-neutral, not-for-profit organization founded to serve global industry by supporting individuals and organizations through programs that strengthen machinery lubrication and oil analysis as technical fields of endeavor.

We envision a world where lubrication and oil analysis practitioners are well-educated, valued, encouraged, and recognized for their indispensable relevance to machine reliability and lubricated asset management. Everything we do is dedicated to helping them succeed in their professional careers, so they can achieve more for themselves and their employers.

Since 2001, our worldwide programs have enabled us to certify the skills of practitioners in the field, to facilitate the exchange of ideas and best practices, to recognize excellence and accomplishments, and to invite new participants to influence our industry.

Chief Reliability OfficerReliability Playbook

Paul currently serves as Chief Reliability Officer for Reliability Playbook based in Central Florida. Reliability Playbook is one of ICML's independent training partners. Previously, Paul worked for Georgia-Pacific, Koch Fertilizer, and Trico Corporation where he developed world-class maintenance & reliability and lubrication programs. Prior to this he served in the US Army as an Armor Officer. Paul is a Distinguished Military Graduate of the University of Central Florida. Paul has earned multiple certifications: Asset Reliability Practitioner, Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional and Technician, Machinery Lubrication Engineer (MLE)®, and Certified Lubrication Specialist, as well as MLT II and MLA II, Vibration Analysis Level II, and Ultrasound Level I.

President and CEOEcol Group

Wojciech is a co-owner and president of Ecol Sp. z o.o. Group, which comprises Ecol Sp. z o.o. Poland, Ecol Industrial s.r.o Czech Republic, and Ecol North America LLC, USA. The group (450+ employees) provides specialty services related to reliability and performance of industrial plants, especially in areas of lubrication outsourcing and plant maintenance services. Ecol also runs a well-recognized, independent, high-tech oil analysis laboratory. Projects have been executed in more than 30 countries worldwide. He is an experienced business manager of multiple R&D and engineering projects, dealing with broadly understood plant performance and equipment reliability engineering, especially in the context of tribology and machine lubrication, and developing lubrication management services for large-scale industrial plants. He is an active speaker, author, and trainer at many international conferences, technical symposia, and training sessions in the areas of lubrication management and oil analysis. As a supporter and promoter of the ICML 55® Standard, he recently (2023) contributed as a co-author to ICML 55.2 “Guideline for the Optimized Lubrication of Mechanical Physical Assets.” Since 2023 Wojciech has served on the board of Polish Chamber of Power Industry and Environmental Protection (IGEOS) and is a specialist member of the “IGEOS Nuclear” cluster. He is a Certified Lubrication Specialist™ by STLE (since 2013) and a certified Machinery Lubrication Engineer (MLE)® by ICML (since 2019). Wojciech graduated from the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, Poland, earning a master’s degree in mechanical engineering with emphasis on power generation equipment. He was a stypendist (PhD student) of the Erasmus Program at Clausthal University of Technology in Clausthal-Zellerfeld, Germany, and EMBA at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, USA, and Warsaw University, Poland.

Throughout Mike’s career, he has specialized in building and executing business development strategies that drive growth and create value, with a particular focus on engaging global MRO suppliers and OEM’s. By identifying market opportunities and aligning solutions with customer needs, Mike has successfully expanded market presence and strengthened partnerships across diverse industrial sectors. In addition to his expertise in business development, Mike is certified as an MLT I and has led significant initiatives, including ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 laboratory certifications. His technical knowledge in oil analysis, and lubrication best practices complement his ability to develop and implement strategies that advance operational reliability and efficiency.

HR and Operations Executive

Kelley Evans brings more than 20 years of executive and operational leadership experience across organizational development, human resources, and manufacturing operations. Most recently, she served in several executive roles at Industrial Oils Unlimited (IOU) / Adjuvants Unlimited, including five years as co-chief operating officer, where she oversaw company-wide operations including human resources, finance, information technology, customer care, quality, manufacturing, and IOU sales. In these roles she witnessed firsthand the positive career impact of ICML certifications on lubrication professionals, motivating her to contribute her experience in strategy, governance, and organizational development to the ICML board. Prior to IOU, Evans served in HR management with Deloitte and then Convergys, where she developed and implemented professional growth initiatives and led regional employee relations strategy across several business units in a multi-state workforce. Throughout her career, she has consistently served as a trusted advisor to C-level executives and boards, with a strong focus on sustainable growth, organizational health, and people-centered leadership initiatives.

Welding Engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME)WeldMech Consulting, LLC

Matthew Collins is a professional mechanical engineer and professional welding engineer with more than 3 decades of diversified managerial and technical expertise, including 22 years as a welding/mechanical engineering SME within the oil and gas industry and for Los Alamos National Laboratories, and six years as an upstream oil and gas asset integrity manager, maintenance and reliability (M&R) manager, and offshore asset integrity maintenance and shutdown manager. Collins spent the majority of his career with ConocoPhillips and ARCO Alaska, supporting complex onshore and offshore facilities worldwide, with notable involvement in corrosion control, inspection programs, global welding technology, and compliance with international codes and standards. He is an active contributor to industry standards through long-standing service on the ASME B31.3 Process Piping Code Committee and as a member of the Edison Welding Institute Industry Advisory Board. He currently performs consulting work as a Welding Engineering SME through his firm, WeldMech LLC. In addition, Collins owns GJW Farm LLC, a 580-acre operating farm/ranch in Missouri that has been in his family for 133 years.

Ramsey is the co-founder and former president of Noria Corporation, where he first led the publishing division (conferences, magazines and newsletters) before becoming president and growing it into a globally recognized business spanning publishing, training, consulting, events, software, and industrial products. Under his leadership, the company developed independent training courses to correlate with ICML’s vendor-neutral certifications and trained thousands of professionals in support of lubrication and reliability programs at more than 100 Fortune 500 companies. Ramsey currently publishes the online media property, "Reliable". Prior to his time with Noria, Ramsey was the marketing manager at Diagnetics, a producer of instruments designed for onsite oil analysis, filtration test stands, oil analysis seminars, and analysis software.
